Welcome to Cook Book Club at Kasama Space!

This series will take place at Kasama Space, a beautiful kitchen studio located inside the Bemis Arts Building in Sodo. In each class we will learn together while cooking recipes out of a few of my favorite new(ish) cookbooks.

This is a new type of cooking class, one that creates an opportunity for our community to gather and cook, all while promoting authors and chefs from diverse backgrounds and celebrating the food they are connected to.

Before each class I will pick out 3-4 recipes from the book that we will cook together. During class, I'll talk you through the science and technique, while letting the author tell us the recipe. Think of it as a big dinner party where I'll do the organizing, so you can help cook while learning along the way. Class will end with a shared meal and a glass of wine.
